Completion includes Closure as well as New Beginnings…..

Anyone else find they need to either talk things through or if there’s no one to talk to, write? 

I ask the Tarot for guidance, insight, on a friendship situation…..

The Two of Wands was the first card of this two card reading…

The card I received was the two of wands.  Very much a card of choice, two, and a choice set in wands, fire, inspiration, creativity.  Options to be excited about, which is good.  If I had received the two of pentacles, I would have known this was a keep all your balls up in the air, the two of swords, hold back, the two of cups (make an emotional choice).  However when  we look at the illustration for the Two of Wands, a man is holding the globe in his right hand and holds one of the wands flanked by the other as he looked out into the world. The two wands on either side of him frame a view of the world beyond.

Hmm I thought, the card didn’t immediately trigger an inspired option to take in terms of the friendship situation, and following the direction of the gaze of the man on the two of wands the Tarot seemed to be asking me to do the same, face another direction and see what inspires?  Sometimes this card speaks of needing to look outside our comfort zone.    

Naturally I pulled a Clarification card, and pulled the World.  The final card of the Major Arcana.  The end of the Fool’s Journey, a card of completion, of coming to a place, moment when we know we are in the right place at the right time and feel complete, enough.  We are in the centre of our world, surrounded by the wreath of success, as if our own accomplishments are enough, reminding us we don’t need anything else to endorse this feeling of wholeness.  The Four elements symbolising the fixed signs of the Zodiac, Leo Taurus Scorpio and Aquarius are in the corner of the card and suggests we have their support suggests balance and integration of all four elements,  fire, water, earth and air.  

She has achieved what she set out to achieve with the two wands given to her by the Magician…..

As this card talks of completion, it also talks of closure.  Relevant to my friendship I feel.

And reminds me of the cyclical nature of life, as soon as one completes one phases we start another.

It’s going to be a process, I suspect.  But am going to take the advice of the two of wands and get excited about my options.  I have choices and I’m going to choose what sparks my imagination and what inspires.   More time for painting!  And travelling.

I am reminded that often the process of closure can require feeling re energised.  I hope these new options will start me off.
