In the Threshold reading (Feb 1st blog) is was very clear, that we are entering a brand new Era and are at the absolute end of the old. ‘The King is dead, long live the new king’ is the depiction on the Death tarot card. What is the new Era going to look like?

We know this is the year of Change, the question is what do we want to envision, with the support of this ‘va va voom’ energy? Are we going to keep looking back at the past and focus on the continuing chaotic state of affairs or are we going to put our focus on the future and the life we want to create and ‘make the world a better place?’ And how do we keep centred enough to do so!
With 5 days to go till the official full arrival of this year’s brand new exuberant energy. I thought I’d ask the tarot to give me a bit of an idea what to focus on…

What is being seeded and how to go about it tarot reading.
1. Present, The World which represents Completion. It is the final card of the major arcana, the final card in a cycle of life. We’ve completed a cycle and now we are ready to start a new. The Fool is the 1st card of the major arcana, who is fearless in the face of the unknown on at the beginning of a brand new journey. We are done, enough, complete.

2. What is being seeded, what should I be focussing on? Ace of Wands, a brand new spark of inspiration is at hand, and ready to be lit. Follow your idea…a new creative beginning, there’s something that makes your eyes light up…. focus on that.
Lady Luck…because we deserve it …..
3. How to bring it in? The Nine of Pentacles, which represents the lucky extra, that comes out of our efforts, the lucky bonus because we deserve it. The nine of pentacles represents good luck and reminds us there is extra that will come out of your efforts. And a time to feel grateful for what we already have…and know that Lady Luck is with us.
4. What to shed, page of pentacles, being the student, we don’t need to learn new skills to follow the ace of wands, to be inspired and look to the future and create something new. We are already whole enough in ourselves, The World, we are in the right place at the right time.

Often the Chariot talks about needing a split beam approach to life when we have to keeping two paths going in tandem, e.g. work and home life.
