Does a tarot reading predict our Fortune or does it help create it? I believe it helps us create the future we desire. And that the universe responds to our intention and desire
The Wheel of fortune is ever the card that reminds us of the constant flux of life, the ever cyclical movement of the seasons, that we are in constant change. The card asks us to consider where we are on the wheel. Sometimes we on the way up and sometimes we are on the way down. Is the sap rising or falling? It is the natural order of things.
When the Wheel of Fortune turns up in a tarot reading it is a wake up call to a moment in which many forces (out of our control) may be at play but! In my belief equally it alerts us to the opportunity to jump into the wheel of life and effect the change we would like. The potential for a dynamic and creative act.
Does destiny decide our fate or do our actions affect destiny? We do have a choice. Even when we sense the inevitable, there is choice. When this card comes up in a reading there is a good chance the tarot is saying JUMP into the Wheel and take action and quite often any action with intention will move the wheel in our favour.
Whatever the circumstance, this is the moment to cast the dice, to set an intention for a new cycle.
