How to find fulfilment?
that is the question!
Happiness!
When I see the ten of cups I always say ‘emotional fulfilment for yourself and others’…..but how does that translate as advice or guidance in a reading? While the overall energy of the card is clear ‘happy families, celebration, joy’ I don’t quite know how to go about it as an advice card?
As per my blog of last week about purpose and meaning I realise relating to this card all depends on your interpretation of what a happy family looks like. It all depends on the meaning we attach to the image on this card.
I don’t have a family, nor am I part of a happy family so I struggle with its message for me which says plenty about my lack of confidence when it comes to relationships. Probably the reason I have received this card three times over the same number at weeks…..I need to get better at them!
So has the Tarot has given me this card in response to my lack of emotional fulfilment?
Because I’ve been feeling rather dissatisfied, and concerned about my health.
I know you are supposed to find acceptance around difficulties …
‘God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, wisdom to know the difference’
Surrender, turn things upside down on it’s head for a different perspective
Which explains why I got the Hanged Man for my health. Surrender to ‘what is’! and here I am wrangling against ‘what is’. I am not happy to accept current health challenges. In fact I am distinctly resistant to acceptance, and decidedly upset about it, and don’t know what to do? The trouble is I don’t know what to accept and what to have the courage to change. And clearly don’t have the wisdom to know the difference!
How will the advice of the ten of cups improve my health??
Well the tarot isn’t giving me swords to ‘think’ about it or face the ‘truth’, or pentacles, to work at it and be practical, or wands to get fired up about it. The tarot seems to be telling me ‘come back to my heart’…see blog on 10 of cups.
I actually wish I could go to a tarot reader for some guidance as I always find a reading realigns me and I leave more enthusiastic about life. Do come and have a tarot reading with me in Battersea or online, I would be my pleasure! You will probably cheer me up as reading tarot does bring me back to my heart, always.
